Material Cadastre
Research at UMAR is concerned with ensuring the disassembly and resource planning of the module. For this purpose, a material pass is created for each installed material, which records the quantity, dimensions, type, connection and position in the building. However, researchers are also particularly concerned with the use and provision of this data, especially in relation to the urban scale of the urban mine. The results will be analysed and implemented in the next 5 years together with research partner Madaster.
Madaster, is the ‘cadastre’ for materials. This online library facilitates the creation of digital documentation and registration of materials for real estate objects and infrastructure. Madaster is a public, non-profit initiative run by the Madaster Foundation. The Madaster Platform facilitates registration, organisation, storage and exchange of data and guarantees privacy, security and continuity.
